The Crystalline Glaze Collection by Patrick McIntyre

He’s settled into himself — confident now, after years of learning who he is and who he isn’t. The narrow foot and proud shoulders give him quiet stature, like someone who’s walked the halls long enough to stop trying to impress them. His mango glaze glows with the energy of youth, tapering into the calm of pale yellow near the base, where blue crystals rise like late-night ideas finally taking shape. There’s history in the way he holds light — not perfect, but assured, grounded, content to stand among others and still be his own. Please note: a minor firing crack is present on the underside of the foot. It does not affect the structure or the vessel’s ability to hold water and is not visible during normal display.

The Misfits Collection No. 5 — “Echo Fade”
MF-005-EF-LTCA
Regular price$425.00

A beautifully disciplined porcelain vessel with a narrow base and full-bodied form. The glaze begins in deep black at the rim, softening into a silvery gray mid-section before dissolving into a translucent crystalline burst at the foot. Blue crystals gradually clear as they descend — a dual fade of color and clarity that captures the fragile balance between mastery and surrender. A near-perfect piece that earns its misfit title only by defying uniformity.
Hand-thrown and fired in Lake Tahoe, California.
Enemy of Harmony No. 1 — “The Unruly Calm”

He was never meant to blend in. The form is classic — a narrow base, full body, and elegant flute — but the surface burns with contradiction. From obsidian black at the rim, the glaze flares into molten orange and fades to a pale glow at the base, a sunset that refuses to end quietly. Blue crystals scatter across the field like sparks breaking rank. This vessel doesn’t chase balance — it thrives on the edge of it, proof that beauty often lives in the tension between order and unrest.

Obsidian Trinity
OT-009-S3-LTCA
Regular price$955.00
/
Deep, luxurious green vessels wrapped in McIntyre’s signature matte-black crystalline glaze. Each carries a similar narrow flute — one upright, one slanted, one still — their forms echoing one another...together they embody strength, composure, and kinship — a family bound by elegance and fire, balanced between shadow and reflection.
The Misfits Collection No. 5 — “Olive Eclipse”
MF-005-OE-LTCA
Regular price$675.00
/
Three porcelain vessels born from the same firing, each carrying its own measure of defiance. A deep obsidian black at the rim cascades into a muted olive body, overtaken by bursts of crystalline blue — some full, some fractured, all alive. The glaze defied precision, yet revealed an unexpected harmony: night giving way to earth beneath a storm of frozen color.
Grouped together, they hold the tension between control and accident — the beauty of chemistry unbound.
Hand-formed and double-fired in Lake Tahoe, California.
Family Edition No. 1 — “Sunset Lineage”
FM-001-SL-LTCA
Regular price$750.00

A radiant trio bound by color and kinship. Each porcelain vessel carries the same sunset fade — deep ember red at the rim, dissolving through coral and soft gold to a mellow yellow at the base. Blue crystalline constellations shimmer across the surface, uniting them in shared chemistry and light.
The tallest stands with quiet authority — the father. The middle vessel, his son, mirrors his stance in smaller form. The third, the daughter, carries a gentler curve and a graceful flute at the lip. Together they form a lineage of balance — strength, continuity, and warmth embodied in clay.

They’ve always belonged together. Five vessels born from the same fire, their tones warmed by taupe and rose — the color of calm conversation. The tall carry a steady strength, the quiet center... groups. Beside him/her softer curves gather the light, reflecting everything he/she steadies.
Between them stand smaller voices — bright, imperfect, curious — each with a different tilt of the lip, a different pattern of crystals catching the glaze. They lean toward one another in the kiln, as if whispering through the heat, and came out inseparable

Golden Drift Series — Family of Four
GD-004-F4-LTCA
Regular price$1,125.00
/
A family of open-mouthed, rounded porcelain vases, each staggered in height to create a natural rhythm of form and proportion. The Golden Drift Series embodies the tranquil meeting of earth and sky — a golden-tan glaze washed with deep cobalt and pale blue crystalline blooms.
Each piece carries its own pattern of drifted crystals, suspended like fragments of ice over desert sand. Together, they form a harmonious landscape — distinct, yet bound by the same molten chemistry.

The rounded form rises into a distinctive rim that catches light like the edge of jade. Repeatable yet never identical, each piece captures the rare balance between chemistry and emotion that defines McIntyre’s studio practice.
Founder’s Recommendation No. 1 — “Obsidian Grove”
FR-001-OG-LTCA
Regular price$350.00
/
A deep, forest-green porcelain vessel enveloped in flat, matte-black crystalline formations (9.5"x 6.5") — the debut of Patrick McIntyre’s signature glaze. Developed through years of experimentation, this exclusive formula achieves what few crystalline artists dare to claim: reliable repetition in the kiln without sacrificing mystery or depth. The surface evokes moss-covered stone under shadow — elegant, masculine, and quietly powerful. Each firing yields subtle variations, yet every piece carries the same disciplined chemistry and timeless composure.
